Magento 2 Extended Permissions Manage

After downloading the package, please proceed with the following steps:

Step 1:

Please unzip the archive.

Step 2:

Disable cache at System -> Cache Management.

Step 3:

Unload the contents of the module package to the Magento root folder. This will not over write the existing Magento files, only the new contents will be added.

Step 4:

Using SSH, go to Magento root folder and run command below:

1. Run command to update database : php bin/magento setup:upgrade

2. Run command to deploy : php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy

Step 5:

Refresh your admin user access rights: logout from your store admin and then login back. Next, please Enable Cache.

1. General Configuration

Go to the CMSIDEAS -> Extended Permission Manage -> Settings

You should configure the fields, then click on the "Save Config" button to save your work.

A user with restricted permissions can only see the tabs assigned to them.

2. Create a role with advanced permission

Go to the SYSTEM -> Permission -> User Roles

To create a role,  you click the button "Add New Role" at top right corner. Then you complete the required fields

To restrict access of sub-administrators, you can choose one of the following three options:

1. Disabled

2. Limit Access by Store View/Category

3. Limit Access by Store Website

Extended Permissions Manage: Settings tab

Click the "Save Role" button to save your work

3. Create a sub - admin user

Go to the SYSTEM -> Permission -> All Users

To create a user to which you want to assign a custom role,  you click the button "Add New User" at top right corner. Then you complete the required fields
