The Documentation


After download the package, please proceed with the following steps:

Step 1:

Please unzipped the archive. When opened window, you will see two folder: Step1, Step2.

Step 2:

Installing the extension. You can check compilation state in System > Tool > Compilation, see "Compiler Status". If status is "Enable" to change it to "Disable".

Step 3:

Disable cache at System > Cache Management.

Step 4:

Unload the contents of the module package to the Magento root folder.

- First you copy all the folder in Step1 to the Magento root folder.

- Then you copy all the folder in Step2 to the Magento root folder.

This will not over write the existing Magento folders of files, only the new contents will added.

Step 5:

Refresh your admin user access rights: logout from your store admin and then login back. Next, please Enable Cache.

1. Categories

In back-end, go to the CMS IDEAS -> Blog Pro -> Categories. On Manage Categories page, you can click the button "New Category" to new create or choose a Category existed on the grid to edit.

You need configure information for all fields. Then click “Save” or “Save and Continue Edit” button to save your work.

Easy Blog allows you to create meta information for categories.

2. Posts

2.1. Create New Post

To create a new Post, go to the CMS IDEAS -> Blog Pro -> Add Post. On Post page includes 5 different tab: Content, Thumbnail, Additional, Meta Data, Statistics. You need configure information for all fields. Then click “Save” or “Save and Continue Edit” button to save your work.

2.2. Manage Posts

After create a Post successfully. Go to the CMS IDEAS -> Blog Pro -> Post. When opened window, you will see the list of Posts. On Manage Post, you can edit, delete, duplicate for these Posts.

3. Comments

On front-end, your customer will add comments for your Post.

You can manage these comments in back-end. Go to the CMS IDEAS -> Blog Pro -> Comments. You can Edit, Delete or setup status such as Approve, Reject....

4. Tags

Allow you manage the tags that you created in Post. Go to the CMS IDEAS -> Blog Pro -> Tags

On Manage Tags, you click "Edit" button on the Action column. When opened window, you can change Name, URL Key of this Tag. Then click “Save” or “Save and Continue Edit” button to save your work.

In Back-end, go to the CMS IDEAS -> Blog Pro -> Configuration.
