Magento 2 Size Chart

The Documentation


After downloading the package, please proceed with the following steps:

Step 1:

Please unzip the archive.

Step 2:

Disable cache at System -> Cache Management.

Step 3:

Unload the contents of the module package to the Magento root folder. This will not over write the existing Magento files, only the new contents will be added.

Step 4:

Using SSH, go to Magento root folder and run command below:

1. Run command to update database : php bin/magento setup:upgrade

2. Run command to deploy : php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy

Step 5:

Refresh your admin user access rights: log out from your store admin and then login back. Next, please Enable Cache.

1. Configuration Size Chart

Go to the CMSIDEAS -> Size Chart -> Configuration
or STORES -> Settings -> Configuration -> GLACE EXTENSION -> Size Chart

You should configure the fields, then click on the "Save Config" button to save your work.

2. Manage Size Chart

Go to the CMSIDEAS -> Size Chart -> Manage Size Charts

Here you can create a new Size Chart or edit existing the Size Charts

To create a new Size Chart, you click the button "Add New Size Chart" at top right corner and complete the required fields. Then click “Save” or "Save and Continue Edit" button to save your work.

General tab:

Name - You will enter the name of the size chart here

Status - If status is "Enable" the size chart will be shown on the your store

Store View - Select the stores that you want to apply the size chart

Display - Select the style the charts should be displayed: "In Popup" or "On Page"

Content - You can use the extended WYSIWYG editor to enter tables, texts, images for your size chart

 

Display Rules tab:

3. Assign the Size Chart to the Product Categories

Go to the PRODUCTS -> Inventory -> Categories -> select the required category

Click the "Save" button to save your work

Display in Frontend

The "Size Chart" button is displayed on the product page

You click on the "Size Chart" button, the size table assigned to this product will appear as a pop up on the product page

4. Assign the Size Chart to the Products

Go to the PRODUCTS -> Inventory -> Catalog -> select the required product

Click the "Save" button to save your work

Display in Frontend

 The size chart is displayed directly on the product page
